Sonship

Our ministry mandate is to prepare the Bride of Christ to be ready for the coming of return of Christ. This is not gender related at all but is a collective noun for the church to experience union with Christ and to be equipped in knowing that the church can walk in sonship here on earth as it is in heaven thereby expressing their love and thankfulness to the Father.

It is important to note that when we become ‘Born-again’ we begin a process of becoming  a son of God through our faith in Jesus Christ.  In the natural a son is born and presented to the father and given a name. He then starts to grow in his understanding of who he is, what is his purpose in life and his destiny. In the old days if your father was a baker you were destined to be a baker and will began to learn your trade from a young age by learning the ingredients to the fine art of creating and selling the products. A son is introduced as a son around the age of 30 when he has a perfectly proven mature nature and represents his father with the full possession of the family name.

In the Kingdom of God we see this son is now being perfected, as a matured son who represents his Father and is  now proclaimed by the Father Himself to be His son. He will usher in the order of his Father’s government by loving his enemies and forgiving debts, also, he will be led by the Holy Spirit and rule righteously over creation. He experiences true unity in maturity with other sons, and does not shrink from discipline, being ready to take hold of his full inheritance.

Hebrews 13:20&21 Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.(NKJ)
